Purpose: The distribution channel should be done from the point of view of different stakeholders. This issue is of central importance in the design of the distribution channel and will ultimately lead to the creation of value for all the people involved. The aim of the present study was the interpretive structural modeling of the antecedents and consequences of the participation of key stakeholders of the distribution channel in value creation in the footwear industry.
Method: The current research is an exploratory research based on the purpose. Also, based on the method of data collection, it is a survey-cross-sectional research. The main tools for collecting research data are library studies and structural-interpretive modeling questionnaires. The statistical population includes all the wholesalers of Tabriz city. The minimum sample size was estimated to be 384 people using Cochran's formula. The random sampling method was simple. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. In order to analyze the data, descriptive statistics were used and in the inferential part, the structural-interpretive modeling method was used using Smart PLS software. The partial least squares technique was used to confirm the validity and reliability of the questionnaire.
Findings: Data analysis showed that in all three sections of antecedents, value creation and consequences, the relationship between all components and sub-components of the model is statistically significant. Also, the fit indices of the tested model indicate the appropriate fit of the final model based on the collected data.
Conclusion: This research confirmed the antecedents and consequences of the participation of key stakeholders of the distribution channel in creating value in the shoe industry quantitatively and in the form of a model. Therefore, managers and planners should have comprehensive planning for promotion and strategic interaction with key stakeholders based on the presented model components.
