The purpose of the present study was to investigate the role of social media in the development of therapeutic tourism in Isfahan. The present research method was a descriptive survey that was implemented in the field. The statistical population of this study was the specialists of treatment, tourism and medical media. The sampling method of the present study was available in which 200 questionnaires were analyzed. The research tool had produced a researcher questionnaire, which was confirmed by 12 people in medical, tourism and media management professionals, with a reliability of 0.84. The data analysis was performed using the SMSE Model Test, and Friedman's SPSS software using SPSS software. The results of the study showed that social media provides the basis for development in the development of therapeutic tourism by creating demand for services and health goods and creating attractiveness for communities; Therefore, the use of social media can play a positive role in the mental image of Isfahan tourists
