Abstract

Operational research, as an interdisciplinary discipline, has wide applications in various fields, including the optimization of salary and wage systems. The purpose of this article is to investigate and analyze the role of operational research in the structuring, decision-making and optimization of payment systems. Relying on quantitative methods and advanced algorithms, solutions for evaluating and determining the amount of salary and wages have been presented in a way that helps organizational goals such as increasing employee motivation, rationalizing costs and observing justice in payment. Mathematical models such as linear programming, game theory, and data envelopment analysis have been applied to better understand how different pay policies affect overall organizational performance. This paper also deals with a case study in a particular organization where the performance of the pay system was significantly improved by applying operational research techniques. The results of the study indicate that the use of operational research can effectively help formulate salary strategies that are not only financially sustainable, but also in the direction of improving employee job satisfaction and motivation. Laws and regulations of work and social security are the most important tools of every country to shape the culture of rights and wages. But the pressures from labor groups, trade unions, personal interpretations and the way the laws are implemented by the executive agencies and the ruling values of the society, may affect the laws and regulations or the way they are implemented. They have made an impact and they have been compiled from the goals. It is expected that it will not match. Therefore, periodic revision of these laws is considered necessary.
