Abstract
It is one of the most important and vital issues in the field of education. Weak students in the second year of elementary school are one of the main problems in the country's education system, which need appropriate methods to improve their progress and math skills. In this regard, it is very important to identify the factors that affect the academic progress of weak students in the second year of elementary school in mathematics, which has been discussed in this research. In this research, using a descriptive-qualitative method and using 30 experts from the city of Ahvaz who were selected by the snowball method, using interviews and in the field, to identify and prioritize the factors affecting the academic progress of poor students in the second year of elementary school. It is discussed in the math lesson. In this regard, the results of the research have shown that according to the number of repetitions of variables affecting progress in mathematics, formative and frequent evaluation with 44 repetitions has the highest impact on students' progress in mathematics, while the rationality of evaluation with 15 times Repetition has the least effect.
